FPTA - Friends, Parents, Teachers Association

Every school thrives on the support of an engaged and dedicated parent body, and at BESA, we are fortunate to have an exceptional FPTA. This vibrant group of parents plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and enhancing the overall experience for both students and families.

The FPTA meets regularly to discuss opportunities for collaboration, plan events, and create initiatives that enrich our school community. Their efforts are instrumental in organising a variety of engaging activities throughout the year, from social gatherings and fundraisers to pizza days and our annual BESA Ball! These events not only strengthen the bond amongst families but also create lasting memories for students.

Each class is represented by a parent liaison who acts as a vital link between parents and teachers. These representatives facilitate communication, share important information, and ensure that the voices of all parents are heard. This structure allows for a more cohesive approach to addressing the needs and interests of our school community.

At BESA, we value the contributions of the FPTA and believe that a strong partnership between parents and the school is essential for our students' success. We encourage all parents to get involved, whether through attending meetings, volunteering at events, or simply sharing their thoughts and suggestions. Together, we can create a nurturing and thriving community that supports every child's educational journey.
